A review of Royal Mail by Bill Ball written on Saturday 5th of November 2016
I had card through door saying Royal Mail had declined to deliver mail which had inadequate postage paid. I put stamps to required amount on card and posted it as instructed. Three days later it came back through my letterbox!
I decided to try collecting item from Firth Road office. There was a long queue stretching outside door, due to only one person serving. It took 15 minutes to be served.
The lady serving volunteered a nice apology, in a way that indicated such redeliveries of these cards are not uncommon. Royal Mail should make the system less easily prone to error, and care about how long it makes its customers wait..
