A review of Affordable Furniture by Anonymous written on Friday 3rd of August 2018
I moved out of the area, and asked Affordable Furniture if they wanted to take back two wardrobes (one triple and one single) that I purchased from them a couple of years earlier. They said they would take them and offered me £100 for them. When they came to collect them we told them that we had changed our minds and will be keeping the single wardrobe, but they could take a chest of drawers instead of the single wardrobe. So they agreed and took the triple wardrobe and the chest of drawers. They gave me a cheque for £100. When I cashed the cheque it bounced. So I telephoned Affordable Furniture and they told me that I had broken the agreement and not given them the two wardrobes. We did not break the agreement, as it was agreed verbally, on the day of the removal. To this day, I am still 'out of pocket' by £100..
