A review of Longhurst Housing Association Ltd by Malgorzata Nowicka written on Friday 9th of October 2020
I have a broken boiler for two weeks. The boiler flame( ignition) doesn't stay. We have to restart in many times a day and sometimes we are not able to restart it at all even that we press restart button many times.
Each time I phone Longhurst they ensure me that an engineer will be coming in ,,today''. After countless number of calls, an engineer arrived last weekend (the emergency service). He wasn't able to fix it as it was on at the time so he couldn't determine what is wrong with it. He advised that, he will be passing all the information to Longhurst and someone will come in to fix it this week. It's Friday today and nobody came to fix it! Boiler went off again this morning, I've tried to restart it on many occasions but it would start. We are left without heating or hot water again!
An engineer that came around also said that the best way would be to phone Longhurst as soon as it goes off so they can see what is the problem. I phoned this morning and unfortunately, they are too busy to send anyone around today! They can send someone tomorrow if I want. I have never seen a poorer customer service that this..
